This is a unique opportunity for the right candidate who thrives in a complex environment, where the next business opportunity requires a broad outlook and a deep dive into smaller areas of the energy trading business. You will be driving various business projects by developing them yourself or working with various business teams across the organization. 

Besides searching for and developing new business opportunities, you will also have an outgoing role, meaning that you will be representing InCommodities in dialogues with potential business partners.

At InCommodities, we just do business differently, and this role will have very big responsibilities with the opportunity to drive business InCubators across the organization and develop the next profit areas. 

You will develop analysis and strategies. You will work with a global outlook and be challenged daily in finding ways through complex markets. At the same time, you will be doing this with some of the brightest minds in the industry and have strong colleagues and sparring partners around you.

Your journey as a Commercial Business Developer

Responsibilities

  • Identify and develop new profit areas for InCommodities

  • Identifying and researching opportunities in existing markets in close collaboration with business teams

  • Research new profit opportunities in locations outside of our existing markets 

  • Research new profit opportunities in new energy commodities

  • Be the main driver for selected strategic commercial projects

Qualifications – we imagine that you:

  • Have an educational background in Economics, Business Administration, IT, or similar

  • Have 3+ years of experience from an energy trader role

  • Are fluent in English and any second language is an advantage

  • Have experience with external stakeholder management and an international outlook

  • Are detail-oriented, systematic, and structured

Personal skills – we expect that you:

  • Have strong self-discipline and can work independently and make decisions and priorities

  • Have a curious mindset and are open to different tasks and challenges

  • See opportunities and or obstacles – a can-do attitude 

  • Have strong communication skills and feel confident in sharing your opinion and knowledge

  • Are a team player who will do what is best for the team and InCommodities
