We are looking for an experienced Financial Controller who wants to take on the role as our internal tax expert. You will be responsible for creating an overview of current and upcoming laws and regulations within international tax and help us improve our processes and procedures within this area.
Your journey as a Financial Controller specialized within international tax-related matters
You will be part of our Finance team consisting of 7 skilled, talented, and awesome colleagues. We will make sure you get properly introduced to the team, our organization, and our business. First, you will be introduced to the core tasks and work areas in our Finance team to get an understanding of the different roles we possess in the team. Afterwards, you will get thoroughly onboarded into your role, tasks, and work areas to ensure that you feel well-equipped to take on the responsibility of our international tax-related matters.
As part of your journey, you will work closely together with and get all the sparring you need from our highly skilled external experts and advisors. This guarantees a steep learning curve with specialized knowledge within the area of international tax and regulations.

Responsibilities

Create and maintain an overview of current and up-coming laws and regulations within international tax matters (currently active in Europe, North America but exploring new markets)

Collaborate with our external tax experts and advisors

Improve and develop tax related processes and procedures

Execute on ad hoc projects and tasks within the Finance team
Qualifications – we imagine that you:

Have a Master’s in Finance, Accounting, Economic, or similar

Have experience from a similar position, but it is not a requirement

Are interested in becoming a specialist within international tax-related matters

Have great communication skills, both oral and written in English
