Do you want to play a pivotal role in building and scaling our financial trading capabilities in the Japanese power market? Are you excited about combining your quantitative expertise, market insights, and trading acumen to drive success?

We are looking for a Financial Trader to join our fast-growing Japan Power Trading team at InCommodities, based in Singapore.

The Japanese Power Trading team combines data analysis, local market expertise, and power system knowledge to create impactful trading strategies. With the autonomy of a start-up and the resources of a leading global trading firm, you will have the opportunity to build something impactful and lasting.

You will be working from our office in Singapore and be part of a group of colleagues who are building up our business from scratch with experience and knowledge from our European business. A people-first culture

We value a strong social community with frequent events outside the office. The work culture is relaxed; you don’t have to abide by a dress code or a strict hierarchy, so you won’t be frustrated with too many rules, policies, or bureaucratic processes.

Our core values - honesty, transparency, and rethinking - are fundamental to how we engage with each other. Without honesty and transparency, we can't build trust, and trust among team members is the foundation of effective relationships and collaboration, ultimately for achieving better outcomes together. In other words, InCommodities is not your average workplace – it’s awesome.
