We’re looking for an IT Infrastructure & Support Engineer to join our IT team. In this role, you’ll keep our Microsoft-based infrastructure secure, stable, and ready for growth, from Microsoft 365 and Azure to identity, endpoints, and our corporate network. Support will initially be a meaningful part of the role; over time, as the team grows responsibilities will be split and this role will gradually become even more infrastructure focused.

The Journey

At InCommodities Asset Management, we're not just building a company – we're facilitating the future of renewable energy.

Back in 2022, we launched our dedicated Asset Management (AM) team in Aarhus, Denmark, with a clear ambition: to accelerate the green transition by making renewable energy investments both attractive and bankable. Through Power Purchase Agreements (PPAs), we help renewable asset owners and producers unlock value, manage risk, and ensure stable, long-term returns.

In 2025, we took the next bold step – becoming an independent company. This move gives us full autonomy and a sharp commercial focus on asset trading and optimization.
Now, we’re a fast-growing team of 35+ ambitious professionals, and we’re just getting started. With big plans to scale across the entire renewable value chain, now is the perfect time to come on board and be part of something meaningful – and truly exciting.

Ready to rethink the future of energy with us?

What you’ll do

You’ll be part of a small, newly formed infrastructure and platform team, taking hands-on responsibility for keeping our IT environment healthy, secure, and ready for growth. Day-to-day, you’ll:

  • Run and improve our Microsoft 365 and Azure environment, including Entra ID, Intune, and endpoint management

  • Operate our corporate network and remote access, VPN, Wi-Fi, secure remote access, and vendor coordination; explore modern approaches such as ZTNA and SASE

  • Manage device lifecycle end-to-end: provisioning, configuring, securing, patching, and offboarding laptops and mobile devices for new and existing employees

  • Provide first-line IT support to colleagues, onboarding/offboarding, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring the right tools and access are in place

  • Strengthen our day-to-day security posture, through identity and access management, baseline policies, and supporting security/compliance initiatives such as NIS2

  • Automate recurring infrastructure tasks using PowerShell, Terraform or similar tooling

  • Take over and improve infrastructure inherited by InCommodities Europe to fit our needs as an independent company

  • Ensure systems are monitored, documented, and reliable, keeping both uptime and transparency high (runbooks, inventory, and clear ownership)

What you bring

  • 3+ years of hands-on experience in IT operations, infrastructure engineering, and/or IT support
  • Hands-on experience supporting Windows and macOS environments, including device administration and troubleshooting
  • Experience with Microsoft 365 (including Exchange Online), Azure AD/Entra ID, and identity/access management
  • Proven ability to provision and manage virtual machines in cloud and/or on-prem environments (e.g., Azure, VMware, Hyper-V)
  • Experience with device management tools such as Intune, MDM solutions, Autopilot, or similar technologies
  • Solid understanding of networking fundamentals (LAN/WAN, Wi-Fi, DNS, DHCP, VPN, firewalls)
  • Familiarity with automation/scripting (PowerShell, Terraform, or similar)
  • Experience with IT security standards (e.g., NIS2/ISO 27001), containerization, or Kubernetes (e.g., AKS) is a plus
  • You’re fluent in English, written and spoken

How you work

  • You take ownership and follow through, when something needs to work, you make sure it does

  • You are proactive and self-driven, with a strong sense of accountability

  • You thrive in a dynamic, start-up environment where flexibility, initiative, and accountability are key

  • You approach challenges with a structured pragmatic mindset

  • You communicate clearly, and build trust with both technical and non-technical colleagues

What you can expect

  • A tech-driven scale-up company, which challenges how energy assets are traded and optimized
  • A great start-up environment with a high degree of autonomy and flexibility to drive real impact
  • Curious, ambitious and bold people who come together to rethink what’s possible
  • A unique company culture where we live up to our values: Honesty, Transparency, and Rethink
  • Flat hierarchy — no dress code, no meaningless bureaucracy

We’re InCommodities Asset Management - and we're here to challenge how energy assets are traded and optimized.

As energy shifts away from fossil fuels, we help renewable asset owners stay ahead – by managing the complexity of integrating intermittent production in power markets. From delivering route to market to full power purchase agreements in order to secure bankability and optimizing performance, we turn volatility into stability and even opportunity.

Our approach is tech-driven. We combine advanced technologies with deep market expertise, applying quantitative models and automated strategies to deliver reliability, flexibility, and value.

Being initiated as a team in 2022 and growing into an autonomous business unit in 2025, we move with the mindset of a start-up: fast, focused, and ready to grow. As we continuously improve and rethink how we support our customers, we’re also shaping a place where curious minds and bold ideas thrive. If you're ready to challenge status quo and build at the edge of the energy transition – this is the place to be.

Our culture

We value a strong social community with collaboration and teambuilding. The work culture is relaxed; you don’t have to abide by a dress code or a strict hierarchy, so you won’t be frustrated with too many rules, policies, or bureaucratic processes.

Our core values - honesty, transparency, and rethinking - are fundamental to how we engage with each other. Without honesty and transparency, we can't build trust, and trust among team members is the foundation of effective relationships and collaboration, ultimately for achieving better outcomes together. And as for rethinking, it’s deeply rooted in our DNA, pushing us to challenge status quo and continuously develop and innovate.

In other words, InCommodities is not the average workplace - it's awesome.
