The Journey
At InCommodities Asset Management, we're not just building a company – we're facilitating the future of renewable energy.
Back in 2022, we launched our dedicated Asset Management (AM) team in Aarhus, Denmark, with a clear ambition: to accelerate the green transition by making renewable energy investments both attractive and bankable. Through Power Purchase Agreements (PPAs), we help renewable asset owners and producers unlock value, manage risk, and ensure stable, long-term returns.
In 2025, we took the next bold step – becoming an independent company. This move gives us full autonomy and a sharp commercial focus on asset trading and optimization.
Now, we’re a fast-growing team of 35+ ambitious professionals, and we’re just getting started. With big plans to scale across the entire renewable value chain, now is the perfect time to come on board and be part of something meaningful – and truly exciting.
Ready to rethink the future of energy with us?
What you’ll do
You’ll join a team of ambitious and highly skilled colleagues, working on all things IT and cloud infrastructure across our company. You’ll help define and build the infrastructure that keeps our business running smoothly and ready for growth. Over time, you will play a key role in shaping our IT function – both technically and organizationally. Day-to-day, you’ll:
- Own and evolve our cloud setup in Azure and Microsoft 365 — defining standards, governance, and best practices
- Adapt the existing infrastructure – currently operated by InCommodities Europe – to fit our needs as a lean, independent business unit in the context of our ongoing strategic decoupling
- Drive automation and Infrastructure-as-Code (PowerShell, Terraform, or similar) to simplify setup and maintenance
- Manage identity, access, and endpoint security through Intune and Entra ID (Azure AD)
- Evaluate and balance between PaaS and IaaS services to ensure flexibility, performance, and cost efficiency
- Strengthening IT security and governance frameworks, ensuring compliance with NIS2 and internal risk management requirements
- Keep systems transparent and reliable through clear monitoring, alerting, and documentation
What you bring
- 5-10 years of experience in IT operations, infrastructure engineering or cloud administration
- Deep expertise in Microsoft cloud technologies – Azure, Microsoft 365, Intune, and Entra ID – including infrastructure design, governance, and resource management (VMs, storage, networking, Kubernetes, etc.)
- Strong hands-on skills in Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Bicep, or PowerShell), automation, and cloud-native monitoring
- Solid understanding of networking, identity and access management, endpoint security, and cloud governance (NIS2, ISO 27001, and cybersecurity best practices)
- Ability to make sound architectural decisions across PaaS and IaaS environments
- A supportive team player who can mentor and guide colleagues in technical domains as well as support and inspire others in achieving their best
- You’re fluent in English, written and spoken
How you work
- You can balance hands-on technical work with a strategic focus on scalable, long-term solutions
- You communicate clearly, engaging effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- You are structured and detail-oriented, approaching challenges with a pragmatic mindset
- You thrive in a dynamic, start-up environment where flexibility, initiative, and accountability are key
- You are proactive and self-driven, taking strong ownership and following through on your commitments
What you can expect
- A tech-driven scale-up company, which challenges how energy assets are traded and optimized
- A great start-up environment with a high degree of autonomy and flexibility to drive real impact
- Curious, ambitious and bold people who come together to rethink what’s possible
- A unique company culture where we live up to our values: Honesty, Transparency, and Rethink

About InCommodities Asset Management
We’re InCommodities Asset Management - and we're here to challenge how energy assets are traded and optimized.
As energy shifts away from fossil fuels, we help renewable asset owners stay ahead – by managing the complexity of integrating intermittent production in power markets. From delivering route to market to full power purchase agreements in order to secure bankability and optimizing performance, we turn volatility into stability and even opportunity.
Our approach is tech-driven. We combine advanced technologies with deep market expertise, applying quantitative models and automated strategies to deliver reliability, flexibility, and value.
Being initiated as a team in 2022 and growing into an autonomous business unit in 2025, we move with the mindset of a start-up: fast, focused, and ready to grow. As we continuously improve and rethink how we support our customers, we’re also shaping a place where curious minds and bold ideas thrive. If you're ready to challenge status quo and build at the edge of the energy transition – this is the place to be.
Our culture
We value a strong social community with collaboration and teambuilding. The work culture is relaxed; you don’t have to abide by a dress code or a strict hierarchy, so you won’t be frustrated with too many rules, policies, or bureaucratic processes.
Our core values - honesty, transparency, and rethinking - are fundamental to how we engage with each other. Without honesty and transparency, we can't build trust, and trust among team members is the foundation of effective relationships and collaboration, ultimately for achieving better outcomes together. And as for rethinking, it’s deeply rooted in our DNA, pushing us to challenge status quo and continuously develop and innovate.
In other words, InCommodities is not the average workplace - it's awesome.
