Your journey as a Trader Trainee, Forward Power Trading team

We are looking to hire a talented and ambitious Trader Trainee for our Forward Power Trading. At first, you will be doing various analytical tasks to build an understanding of the fundamentals of the European power markets. As you grow, you will start using that knowledge to make your own trading decisions. In this role, you get to work with some of the most skilled and experienced Power Traders and we can guarantee you a steep learning curve. At the same time, you get a chance to unleash your talent and become a best-in-class Power Trader.

  • Develop analytical tools for fundamental data analysis

  • Conduct market analyses

  • Trading across markets optimizing the short end of the forward power curve

  • Develop and act on new and current trading strategies

  • Participating in our shift rotation – we trade power 365 days/year


  • Have an educational background in either Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Engineering, or similar

  • Have strong programming skills and profound experience with Excel

  • Have a good command of English both written and oral

  • Preferably, have experience in energy trading - not a requirement but an advantage

  • Have a strong desire to become the best trader
