Build the backbone of our EnergyTech platform - and make production-grade your standard, not your stretch goal.
We’re looking for a Platform Engineer who sees infrastructure as a product. Someone who doesn’t just click around in a cloud portal, but designs, automates, and improves the Azure ecosystem behind it. You’ll help us run rock-solid AKS clusters, ship predictably through GitOps, and create a developer experience that actually works in a fast-paced trading environment.
You’ll join a company that thrives on automation, autonomy, and bold bets. We call it EnergyTech – and the platform is where it all begins.
What you’ll do
- You’ll design, provision, and manage our Azure infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code – primarily OpenTofu and Terragrunt
- You’ll build and maintain production-grade AKS clusters that are secure, scalable, and boringly stable (the best kind)
- You’ll bridge the gap between “it works on my machine” and “it works in production” using GitHub Actions and ArgoCD
- You’ll maintain and evolve our observability stack with OpenTelemetry, Prometheus, and Grafana – because proactive alerts beat panicked Slack messages
- You’ll implement security best practices like workload identity, secret management, and network policies to keep our platform locked down and efficient
- You’ll participate in incident response and root cause analysis – and turn learnings into long-term improvements
- You’ll evaluate new Azure features and open-source tools to optimize performance, reliability, and cloud spend
- You’ll collaborate closely with developers to refine workflows and help them ship faster and safer
Your Team
You’ll join our tech community working at the core of our trading infrastructure. We’re a group of engineers who care about reliability, performance, and clean solutions.
We work with autonomy and accountability. That means you’ll have real ownership from day one – and colleagues ready to challenge your thinking, share knowledge, and raise the bar together. Decisions are decentralized, feedback loops are short, and ideas move fast.
What you bring
- You’ve spent 5–8 years working in DevOps or Platform Engineering, building and running production environments
- You’ve operated Kubernetes in production – ideally AKS – and understand what it takes to keep clusters healthy
- You write reusable Infrastructure as Code and treat automation as the default
- You’re comfortable scripting in Python or Bash to remove repetitive manual tasks
- You’ve worked with CI/CD pipelines and GitOps setups in real-world environments
- You think about cost optimization and rightsizing as part of good engineering – not an afterthought
How you work
- You take ownership and treat production systems with respect
- You’re analytical and calm under pressure – especially when incidents hit
- You challenge the status quo and look for smarter, simpler solutions
- You collaborate openly and believe the best platforms are built together
- You’re curious about new technologies and motivated to keep evolving your craft
What you can expect from us
You’ll join with a steep learning curve supported by a thorough onboarding program that sets you up for success from day one. From there, you’ll enjoy a high level of autonomy, working alongside exceptional colleagues who are bold, honest, ambitious, and among the smartest in their fields. Our culture is unique—we live our values of Honesty, Transparency, and Rethink, and we do it without rigid hierarchies or dress codes. Along the way, you’ll take part in great events, both within your team and across the organization, and you’ll have the chance to grow on both a professional and personal level.
