Turn complex data into decisive action in the Nordic power market.

We’re growing our Nordic Power Trading team and looking for a Quantitative Power Analyst who’s ready to take ownership of high-impact projects at the intersection of data, models, and market moves. You’ll work where numbers meet decisions – building tools, refining forecasts, and translating massive datasets into trading strategies with real PnL impact.

This isn’t a place for red tape or slow lanes. You’ll get autonomy, direct access to the trading desk, and fast feedback loops so your ideas don’t just sit in a deck – they hit the market.

What you’ll do

  • Own and improve our fundamental stack model to guide trading strategies in the Nordic power market
  • Transform diverse data sources (price signals, weather forecasts, fundamentals) into robust forecasts and trading signals
  • Build and maintain high-performance tools and models that connect data, analysis, tech, and decision-making
  • Collaborate with traders to test and implement ideas that drive measurable results
  • Work across trading, tech, and data teams to deliver solutions that shape our market performance

Your team

You'll join our Nordic Power Trading team – five skilled teammates with diverse roles. We combine deep market knowledge, analytical skills, and bold ideas to seize opportunities with a strong "can-do" attitude. Our team culture is engaging, driven and collaborative – we support each other, challenge ideas, and enjoy achieving shared goals. From the start, you'll be given responsibility, hands-on learning and the opportunity to shape decisions that matter.

What you bring

  • Strong Python programming skills for data wrangling, analysis, and model building
  • A solid grasp of time-series modeling, forecasting techniques, and econometrics
  • A quantitative background – MSc in Economics, Math-Econ, Finance, Engineering, or similar
  • Experience with large, complex datasets (e.g., power, weather, market data)
  • Fluent English – written and spoken

Bonus points if you have

  • Energy sector experience (especially power trading or weather fundamentals)
  • Exposure to real-time or automated trading systems
  • Understanding of stack modeling

How you work

  • You take ownership and push ideas from concept to impact
  • You question assumptions – including your own – to get to the right answer
  • You care about precision and quality, because your work drives decisions
  • You keep evolving, testing new ideas, and learning from feedback
  • You collaborate openly and play for the team

What you can expect from us

  • Ownership and influence – trust, responsibility, and the freedom to execute
  • Cutting-edge tools – shape your own workflows and work with advanced data infrastructure
  • A high-performing team – ambitious colleagues who challenge, support, and celebrate each other
  • A strong culture – grounded in honesty, transparency, and rethinking the way things are done
  • Room to grow – whether it’s deep technical mastery or a move toward trading, we’ll back you

If this sounds like your next move, apply now – and see how far your skills can go at InCommodities.

We’re InCommodities Europe – and we don’t do business as usual. Whether it’s how we trade energy or how we build culture, we challenge the status quo every step of the way.

The energy market is shifting – from fossil fuels to renewables. We’re part of that transition. At InCommodities Europe, we act as the middleman between buyers and sellers of power and gas. We move energy across borders to where it’s needed most, or store it and sell it when the time is right. We play a critical role in the value chain - from production to consumption - ensuring energy gets where it’s needed, when it’s needed.

Our trading decisions are driven by deep market insight and powered by data, quantitative analysis, and constant curiosity.

Making InCommodities outstanding takes all kinds of people – different personalities, backgrounds, and ways of thinking. But we’re united by one thing: We’re fuelled by ideas. And we’re here to rethink status quo.

Our culture

At InCommodities, we win as a team. You’ll work alongside bold, honest, and ambitious people who challenge each other to grow – and get better every day.

Autonomy is real here, and it comes with trust. You’re expected to take ownership and make decisions that move InCommodities forward. Not by asking for permission, but by working with the right people to get it right. You’ve got freedom – and a strong team to back you up.

We care about personal and cultural fit. Not because we expect everyone to be the same, but because we’re building a place where people genuinely enjoy working – and want to stick around.

Expect a casual vibe. We keep a flat hierarchy, no dress code, and no corporate red tape to slow you down. Just trust, teamwork, and a healthy dose of fun along the way. And yes, we like to hang out outside office hours as well.
