Turn uncertainty into insight – and insight into action.

We’re expanding our Risk Management team and looking for a Risk Analyst who’s ready to work hands-on with trading teams, apply market knowledge, and build tools that sharpen decision-making. You’ll be the link between data, models, and people – making sure risk insights don’t just live in reports but actively guide positions in the market.

What you’ll do

  • Act as a partner to our front offices, ensuring they’re equipped to take the best possible positions in the markets
  • Conduct risk assessments of current and new markets and products
  • Perform credit analysis and Know Your Customer (KYC) checks to secure onboarding and follow-up of our counterparts
  • Maintain and improve tools and models that integrate data and analysis into decision-making
  • Optimize and maintain our risk mandate setup across all trading activities
  • Contribute to evaluations of the full risk framework, ensuring best practice procedures are in place
  • Handle day-to-day risk operations depending on market movements

Your team

You’ll join a small, skilled, and collaborative team where autonomy is the default. From day one, you’ll have direct access to the trading desk and fast feedback loops – and you’ll also have teammates ready to spar, support, and challenge you. The team culture is about trust, responsibility, and raising the bar together.

What you bring

  • 2–3 years of experience in Risk Management, ideally in energy trading
  • Strong analytical skills – and the ability to turn data into clear, actionable insights
  • Proficiency in Python, plus the curiosity to expand your technical toolbox
  • Fluency in English, written and spoken

How you work

  • Analytical and logical in your approach
  • Detail-driven, structured, and quality-conscious
  • Curious about new challenges, eager to learn and adapt
  • Positive and proactive – you see opportunities where others see obstacles

What you can expect from us

  • A steep learning curve and thorough onboarding – so you’re set up for success
  • Autonomy and real influence from the start, with support from your colleagues
  • Professional and personal growth opportunities in a high-impact role
  • A casual, no-fluff work environment – no dress code, no red tape
  • A strong culture built on honesty, transparency, and rethinking the way things are done

We’re InCommodities Europe – and we don’t do business as usual. Whether it’s how we trade energy or how we build culture, we challenge the status quo every step of the way.

The energy market is shifting – from fossil fuels to renewables. We’re part of that transition. At InCommodities Europe, we act as the middleman between buyers and sellers of power and gas. We move energy across borders to where it’s needed most, or store it and sell it when the time is right. We play a critical role in the value chain - from production to consumption - ensuring energy gets where it’s needed, when it’s needed.

Our trading decisions are driven by deep market insight and powered by data, quantitative analysis, and constant curiosity.

Making InCommodities outstanding takes all kinds of people – different personalities, backgrounds, and ways of thinking. But we’re united by one thing: We’re fuelled by ideas. And we’re here to rethink status quo.

Our culture

At InCommodities, we win as a team. You’ll work alongside bold, honest, and ambitious people who challenge each other to grow – and get better every day.

Autonomy is real here, and it comes with trust. You’re expected to take ownership and make decisions that move InCommodities forward. Not by asking for permission, but by working with the right people to get it right. You’ve got freedom – and a strong team to back you up.

We care about personal and cultural fit. Not because we expect everyone to be the same, but because we’re building a place where people genuinely enjoy working – and want to stick around.

Expect a casual vibe. We keep a flat hierarchy, no dress code, and no corporate red tape to slow you down. Just trust, teamwork, and a healthy dose of fun along the way. And yes, we like to hang out outside office hours as well.
