Do you thrive in a dynamic, start-up environment? Are you eager to build the systems behind smarter energy trading and play a part in shaping the energy transition?

Join us in Asset Management, where developers take real ownership and collaborate closely with traders and analysts to optimize renewables in modern power markets

Be part of our growth journey in Asset Management

In 2022, we established a dedicated Asset Management team at our headquarters in Aarhus, Denmark, with a bold mission: to help drive the green transition by making renewable energy investments attractive and bankable. Specializing in Power Purchase Agreements (PPAs), we support renewable energy owners and producers in optimizing revenues, mitigating risks, and securing stable returns. Today, we are +20 people across the entire value chain in Asset Management, which spans from software developers to quantitative researchers and traders, to portfolio and contract managers.

You will join our Software Development team, consisting of experienced software developers, and play a key role in building high-impact systems at the intersection of tech and energy trading – what we refer to as EnergyTech. Our software is the foundation of everything we do – from trading automation and balancing strategies to production forecasts and financial settlement. As a developer here, you will be working side-by-side with end-users and see your work create value from day one.

We will provide you with a thorough introduction to our business and organization, ensuring you feel well-equipped to take ownership of your responsibilities. Through a high degree of autonomy and responsibility, you can expect a steep learning curve and a broad exposure to the field of energy trading and renewables asset management.

Responsibilities – you will:

  • Design, build, and maintain scalable and reliable software that supports our asset management and trading operations.
  • Work across the entire development lifecycle: from understanding business needs and designing solutions, to writing clean code and deploying it to production.
  • Collaborate with traders, quantitative researchers, and analysts to build tools that support data-driven decision-making.
  • Continuously improve existing systems to ensure robustness, performance, and ease of maintenance.
  • Participate in team practices such as code reviews, sparring sessions, and exploring new tools and frameworks.

Qualifications - we imagine you:

  • Have 1-3 years of professional experience as a software developer.
  • Write clean, maintainable code and enjoy tackling complex business logic.
  • Are curious, collaborative, and value clear communication.
  • Enjoy working in a high-autonomy environment where decisions are made by the people closest to the task.
  • Are either familiar with or excited to learn F# and .NET (we also occasionally use Python where appropriate).
  • Have experience building, testing, and deploying software using modern CI/CD tools (e.g. GitHub Actions, Docker, Kubernetes) and understand how to ship code reliably and efficiently.
  • Have experience working with databases and writing SQL queries.
  • Are fluent in English, both written and verbal

What you can expect from us:

  • A flat and transparent organization that values bold thinking and open feedback.
  • A team of passionate colleagues – from developers to traders – who support each other and build great things together.
  • A high level of autonomy and ownership from day one.
  • A unique company culture where we live up to our values: Honesty, Transparency, and Rethink, and where you do not have to abide by a dress code or a strict hierarchy, so you will not be frustrated with too many rules, policies, or bureaucratic processes

A people-first culture

We value a strong social community with collaboration and teambuilding. The work culture is relaxed; you don’t have to abide by a dress code or a strict hierarchy, so you won’t be frustrated with too many rules, policies, or bureaucratic processes.

Our core values - honesty, transparency, and rethinking - are fundamental to how we engage with each other.
