Our story

There was something wrong with how energy trading companies operated. We decided to do things differently.

We became a fast, agile organization based on people. Based on trust.

We challenged the status quo, and we changed old management structures and processes. Transparency and honesty led us to autonomy and mastery. We created a supportive culture that we could be proud of, and that our team would be empowered and inspired by. With aspirations to rethink how data and technology are used. To push towards a sustainable future, where we support the transition to green energy.

We became InCommodities.

Founders

We founded InCommodities in 2017 because we decided to do things differently.

A lot has happened since then, and we are proud of what we have achieved together with our team. From a humble 4 man office in Aarhus, to now being 200+ amazing people across the globe. We remain grounded in our values: honesty, transparency and rethink.

Now as we look to the future, we want to continue challenging the status quo, with aspirations to rethink how data and technology are used in energy trading. We have ambitions to become the best workplace in the world and to support the transition to green energy and a net zero future.

What we do

InCommodities is headquartered in Aarhus, Denmark. Established in 2017, our company holds a significant presence in the European and US power and gas markets where we optimize our portfolio 7 days a week, 24 hours a day.

The world is transitioning from fossil fuels to renewable energy sources and the urgency of this transition has never been more evident. Technology is also advancing faster than ever and will play an integral part in paving the way towards net zero.

At InCommodities cutting-edge technology meets the world of energy trading. We call it “EnergyTech". We trade the energy sources of the future: power, gas, and emissions across the globe. We use our deep insight and technology to handle and optimize output from renewables like wind and solar.
